Aqua Taxi is a water transport service on Tasmania’s east coast at Freycinet Peninsula Park. The service allows visitors to access the spectacular national park from the water for walking, kayaking and sightseeing.
The Aqua Taxi is a custom-built catamaran that can comfortably seat 10 passengers. The service is provided by Freycinet Adventures, a family-run business. There is a stable platform, allowing you to walk on and off the vessel without getting wet feet. Choose from a range of suggested itineraries, or personalise your own Freycinet experience.
If you want to visit Wineglass Bay without walking over the hill, Aqua Taxi can take you straight to your destination. You may wish to cruise to Cooks Beach with Aqua Taxi for a picnic and coastal walk, or hike up Mt Freycinet, the tallest peak on the peninsula. If you plan to go bushwalking deep in the heart of the Freycinet National Park, let Aqua Taxi drop you off at a secluded point to begin your walk. One way and return services are available to Hazards Beach, Cooks Beach and Schouten Island.
