Bundaberg Arts Centre Presents Essentially Australian

Essentially Australian by well known artist Judy Cassab is an exhibition toured by the Maitland Regional Art Gallery, which includes 20 acrylic and oil portrait paintings featuring some of Australia’s prominent artists, spanning the last 50 years and celebrities such as Robert Morley (Actor), Margaret Whitlam (Ex Prime Minister Gough Whitlam’s wife) and John Olsen (Prominent Australian Artist). Also included are seven small portrait studies in acrylic and gouache, as well as 10 landscape gouache works from the series titled Rainbow Valley, which recently returned from a tour to the Vasarely Museum, Budapest. This exhibition will be opened by the Mayor of Bundaberg, Councillor Lorraine Pyefinch, followed by complimentary light refreshments and gourmet finger food. Music will be supplied by the Caledonian Pipe Band.
