Millicent will light up this Christmas with the annual 'Millicent Lights Up' competition. Local community members from around Wattle Range Council demonstrate their artistic and festive flair by decorating their homes with Christmas lights and decorations. Winners will be announced 10 December 2008 at the annual Christmas Tree Extravaganza Opening Night at the Millicent Visitor Information Centre but lights remain on display until Christmas. A list of participating houses is available from the Millicent Visitor Information Centre, so pick up your map and list and enjoy the drive around town at any time during the evening, to see these beautiful homes light up the town with Christmas cheer!
To enter the Millicent Lights Up Competition, please collect the entry forms from the Millicent Visitor Information Centre in November and return them before 10 December. A list of all the fairy-lit homes and a Millicent Map can also be obtained from the Visitor Centre.
