Tasmania's Mountain Cattlemen Annual Get Together

Horseback events and entertainment to promote the traditions of Tasmania's Mountain Cattlemen.
Come and celebrate the Tasmanian Mountain Cattlemen's Association Annual Get Together with a weekend of horseback events and live entertainment.
A Bush Poet will be appearing on the Friday night.
A full day on Saturday of horseback events, such as stockhorse races, billy can races, whip cracking, the TMCA Championship and trade displays.
A relaxing trail ride takes place on Sunday.
The TMCA is responsible for maintaining a section of the Tasmanian Trail, and in partnership with the Parks and Wildlife Service is responsible for the maintenance of Allisons Hut.
Members are also offered other activities throughout the year, and the opportunity to participate in street parades, as well as practising traditional skills such as whip cracking and handling a stockhorse.. www.tco.asn.au/oac/community_groups.cgi?oacID=31&groupID=2563
