A weekend of music, art exhibitions, soccer comp., flower and vegetable shows, school fairs, and food.
Be entertained and fascinated by a weekend of exhibitions, school fairs, art shows, open gardens, live Music and much more.
There are two School Fairs (Channel Christian School and Margate Primary), two art exhibitions (and sale), a flower and vegetable show, live music, buskers, piano marathon, book sales, painting event, history talk, beer and cider tasting, market stalls, 16 team soccer competition, Veteran Car Club display, community information displays and belly dancing.
Enjoy the great variety of food on offer with a huge selection of hot food including barbecue, hot roast rolls, curry with rice, cold drinks, tea and coffee and dont forget to try one of the yummy cakes.
Also for the children there will be amusement rides, a merry go round, jumping castle and a mini train ride.
The festival is held at various locations in and around Margate, 20 minutes drive south of Hobart.
So bring your family and friends along for an enjoyable weekend of fun and entertainment.
Most events are free - art exhibitions by donation. There is a small charge for the Beer and Cider expo, and for the En Plein Air painting event. Entry forms for the flower and vegetable show are available from . Buskers and piano players should contact the organiser.
