Dog's Day Out

Contact Phone: 6245 8740
Contact Email: sbishop@ccc.tas.gov.au
Venue: Rosny Farm, Rosny Hill Road Hobart Tasmania
Date: Sun 04 Oct 09

If you love dogs and want a great day out, this event has it all. All dogs will be able to test out their agility on the obstacle course.
Dogs from the Dogs Home will also be at the Dogs Day Out in the hope of meeting a new family, and there will be a parade of dog fashion on the dog-walk.
Dogs and owners are encouraged to join in the competitions such as the dog and owner look-alike, best costume, and smallest and largest dog.
Stalls will include discount micro chipping, free vet advice, RSPCA, dog gifts, and the Hobart Dog Walkers Association.
There will be a dog wash on site plus a children's art exhibition, children's activities, food and drink, and music by Swing Wizard.
The Rosny Farm is a multipurpose community venue that includes a gallery, museum, native and cottage gardens and one of the oldest stone structures in Tasmania, the recently refurbished Rosny Barn (c.1815).
