Australia s world famous Port Fairy Folk Festival is a major event presenting international and national artists in a four day festival of music.
Affectionately known as the Folkie, the festival began in 1977 and has received Victorian and Australian Tourism Awards. With more than 130 acts and 500 artists the festival is a vibrant and exciting cultural celebration which magically transforms the fishing village.
First class performances are held on large stages in the Festival Arena and at venues throughout the town plus there are a number of market stalls, buskers and street events.
