The Perth & WA Tractor Pull Associations run this fun family orientated Tractor Pull & Dirt Drag event at the old Beverley Racecourse in Beverley Western Australia. This is an action packed day of V8 Tractors trying to out pull each other by pulling a weighted sled down a 100 metre dirt track.Also running between rounds is the Junior and Senior Dirt Drags being anything from a four year old on a PeeWee or dads home made Go-Kart up to the adults on modified bikes and Quads of all types.The venue has a large undercover grandstand and plenty of standing room along the trackside, no need to bring anything as the event is full catered for with hot food and snacks, cool drinks and a licensed bar.So bring the whole family along with the kid’s bikes, quads or go-kart for our junior dirt drags.. ww... Settlers House in York has long been a popular destination for hungry travellers seeking a country meal. Over the years it has also become a well patronised spot over the many musical festivals York hosts every year.Since the dates for the traditional York Jazz Festival have been moved into October, Settlers House has stepped up to provide a full program of music over the September long weekend, starting the annual "Settlers House Jazz Weekend".The music starts on Saturday afternoon (after the Australian Football League Grand Final of course) and continues through the evening. Callicoma Hill Eco-cabins in the Hunter Valley is hosting its annual eco-home tour. This will be followed by an afternoon guided bushwalk in World Heritage listed Mount Royal National Park. Practical environmentally friendly building design and construction techniques will be showcased during the two hour guided tour giving visitors the opportunity to learn how these methods can save money and help reduce global warming.
