4/40 Oceanside Drive
Caves Beach NSW

This is a beautifully presented apartment with wonderful ocean views and quality finishes and appliances. There is a lock-up garage and security entry as well.

Overall rating? Outstanding

What makes Beachside Beauty different?
The apartment is in a small block and you don’t really notice that there are other units in the complex, giving you a feeling of privacy.  You are only a 100 metre walk through bush from gorgeous Hams Beach, Caves Beach is only 200 metres further south and the location is peaceful and serene.

Accommodation overview
This modern and open apartment has two bedrooms, the main has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom has two singles, making the configuration perfect for our family of two adults and two teenage girls. The lounge room has a double sofa bed with an innerspring mattress, making room for up to two more people to sleep. Both bedrooms have large built-in wardrobes, which keeps luggage and clothing clutter to a minimum.

Facilities overview
The apartment has all you want and expect in modern beachside accommodation, including air-conditioning, folding balcony doors to maximise the view and the breeze, an 81cm LCD TV and DVD, as well as a CD player, iPod docking station, washer/dryer and well-equipped kitchen. There is also a gas BBQ and a spa bath. There are sun chairs and a dining setting on the large balcony, which makes the most of the glorious views.

Location
Caves Beach is an easy 80-minute drive from Sydney on the F3. Take the Swansea exit and follow the signs.

Suitable for children? Yes – and there are some toys available, however very small children will need to be watched near the stairs.

Suitable for pets? No

Wheelchair access? No – there are 31 stairs to the unit.

Perfect for?
Beachside Beauty is perfect for couples and small families. It is close to the Swansea shopping centre and only 100 metres through bushland to reach Hams Beach. Just a two-minute walk away is a new resort with fantastic facilities, including bars, great breakfast options and an a la carte dining room.

Why stay longer?
We loved the quiet location, the sound of the birds and the waves. Being so close to the beach is an absolute treat. We loved sitting on the deck and relaxing, exploring the caves that give the beach its name and sipping a coffee at the new resort. The apartment is fresh, modern and clean and makes for a great, relaxing break away. It is close to shops and restaurants and would be a wonderful place to live, not just visit! There is a lot to do in the area, including a visit to historic Catherine Hill Bay.

Why you wouldn’t stay longer?
I cannot think of a reason you would want to cut your trip short – this is an excellent property and only the demands of real life would make you leave.
