The property is peaceful and secluded and set in 2.5 acres of bushland full of birds and kangaroos, yet you are only minutes away from beaches and all the wonderful activities that South West Rocks has to offer. There is another house, Tallow Wood Pavilion, making this property perfect for larger families or friends getting away together.

There are two bathrooms, aside from the ensuite, and large bright and airy living areas with high ceilings and polished floors. There is a large dining table, modern and well-equipped kitchen and two separate living areas, adding to the feeling of space.

The large decks look over the serene bushland and are a great place to have dinner or just curl up and read a book. Location
South West Rocks is about 5 hours drive north of Sydney along the Pacific Highway and about the same distance from the Gold Coast. Grass Trees Escape is only five minutes from the heart of South West Rocks.

, but suitable for those with limited mobility. Check for your needs when enquiring.

Families, couples and larger groups, if you book Tallow Wood Pavilion as well.

Why stay longer?
Just to enjoy the peace and ‘get away from it all’ feeling. If you are looking for an active holiday you have the choice of the beaches as well as the Macleay River for swimming, surfing, kayaking, windsurfing, snorkelling and scuba diving.

Visit historic Trial Bay Gaol, go shopping, enjoy some of the great eateries, play golf, go whale watching… you will run out of time before you run out of things to do.

Why you wouldn’t stay longer?

Can’t think of any reason you would want to leave, except the need to return to real life.

I have stayed here and it is gorgeous - South West Rocks is a great place to holiday. Not too far up the coast and with lovely safe beaches for the kids around the bay. And there is also a surf beach if you want something more challenging :-)
