Kangaroo Valley

Karralika Springs has glorious views over Kangaroo Valley and a lovely welcoming feel. We were greeted by the hosts and made to feel at home straight away.

Overall rating? Great, with outstanding cleanliness

What makes Karralika Springs B&B different?
Wherever you are – inside or out, the stunning views are a feature of this lovely property. We had a wonderful panorama of the mountains, which we could enjoy while lying in bed!

Accommodation overview
There are three rooms, which can be booked separately or together. One room has a queen-size bed and can be booked with access to a large bathroom with twin showers and basins, spa, and separate toilet. The Queen Room can also be booked along with the Double Room, with shared bathroom access. The Double Room has one double bed as well as a king-single bed.

The King Room has a king-size bed and ensuite and fabulous views of the valley from the bed itself.

Facilities overview
The upstairs guest lounge has books, TV and there’s a roaring log fire in winter… and of course, those wonderful views. The spa is a great place to relax and let the cares of the world wash away. We were greeted with afternoon tea when we arrived – yummy homemade lemon muffins and tea and coffee are available throughout the day. There is a choice of continental or hot breakfast each morning.

Location
Kangaroo Valley is around 2 hours easy drive from Sydney. Take the spectacular Grand Pacific Drive from the Princes Highway and enjoy the trip. If time is an issue, then the M5 would be the faster route.

Suitable for children? Yes

Suitable for pets? No

Wheelchair access?              No, the guest rooms are upstairs

Perfect for?
Karralika Springs is the perfect escape for a couple looking for a romantic weekend away, or larger groups could book all three rooms and make the most of all the area has to offer.

Why stay longer?
The isolation of the property, set on 82 hectares, means that you can truly relax and enjoy the change of pace from city life. There are lots of lovely bush walks and the wandering through the local shops is another fun pastime. Kangaroo Valley has plenty to offer, including fishing, golf, bike and horse riding, shopping, wineries and more.

Why you wouldn’t stay longer?
If you are after nightlife, then this may not be the place for you.

Pricing
From $170 per night for a couple mid-week, but the rates vary and there is a romantic package available, so check the listing for details.
