And if you feel like venturing outside the park, the many choices include Ulladulla, the historic village of Milton, Burrill Lake with its’ flat-bottomed cruise boat, Mogo Zoo, Pigeon House Mountain, Batemans Bay and its array of shops and restaurants … and that is just the start!
Why stay longer?
There is so much to do for the family and it is all so close by. A week would flash by without even leaving Lake Tabourie Tourist Park, yet there is so much on offer within 10 minutes drive that you would be mad not to explore the surrounding region.
Why you wouldn’t stay longer?
It can be very crowded in the peak season as it is so close to Canberra that summer is full of people enjoying long weekend breaks. The nighttime curfew was not always strictly observed, which can make it noisy for young children to sleep.
