Accommodation overview
This charming B&B consists of 3 separate suites, The Tower and The Gardener’s Retreat; both with queen-size beds and ensuites. Grayswood has a king size bed with ensuite. All three are attached to the main house but are still very private.
The Tower is upstairs with magnificent views out over the gardens and down towards the river. The ensuite has a large bath and a separate shower. Downstairs with its own sitting room with private entrance is The Gardener’s Retreat, resembling a colonial cottage with French doors opening onto a private verandah where you can enjoy panoramic views. Grayswood has its own private courtyard leading from the bathroom. The bathroom is unique with a Japanese soak tub and freestanding shower with the widest showerhead I have ever seen.
Facilities overview
There is a kitchenette complete with microwave and fridge with drinks. Proudly displayed is Ashrowan Bed & Breakfast’s award from TakeABreak for being the National Winner for Luxury Accommodation. Choose what you would like for breakfast for breakfast the next morning – along with the time you would like it served. The breakfast room features unique pieces - both modern and antique, including paintings by Philip. Your cooked breakfast is preceded by a very appetising offering of fruit, yoghurt and honey, and accompanied by cereal, toast, freshly squeezed orange juice ,great coffee and a wide selection of teas.
