Dee Why NSW

This studio apartment has dress circle positioning with sensational views over Dee Why Beach and the headland.

Overall rating?            Excellent

What makes Romantic Beach Pad different?
You could not ask for a better location, waking to wonderful views, going to sleep with the sea breezes and watching the waves roll in from the balcony … this is as close as you can get to living on the beach, yet with a great choice of restaurants, shops and activities all within walking distance.

Accommodation overview
This studio apartment has a luxurious queen-size premium pillowtop mattress, as well as a single sofa bed (with an innerspring mattress) that is suitable for an adult.  A portacot is also available.

There are security doors on both the front door to the studio and the balcony doors, allowing you to sleep soundly, while enjoying the sea breeze.

Facilities overview
There is a modern bathroom and kitchen, with gas cooktop and oven, full size fridge and freezer and everything you need to whip up a meal during your stay.  All linen is provided, including plenty of beach towels for your trips to Dee Why beach.  There is a TV/DVD, but the real star of this studio apartment is the glass-fronted balcony, which gives fabulous views over the rock ledge, ocean pools, beach and headland.

Complimentary tea, coffee, milk and chocolates are provided, along with magazines, bus timetables, brochures on the area and a small selection of books and DVDs.

Location
Dee Why is one of the beautiful beaches to be found on the northern beaches, and is only 30 minutes away from the CBD.  Warringah Mall shopping and cinema complex is close by, as are a string of wonderful beaches, golf courses and restaurants.  You are close to everything, yet Dee Why has a wonderful relaxed, holiday feel.

Suitable for children?     Yes

Suitable for pets?            No

Wheelchair access?        Perhaps, the apartment is serviced by a lift, but there is a large lip to the shower recess and one step at the entrance to the main foyer.  The two ocean rock pools nearby are wheelchair accessible. Check for your requirements.

Perfect for?
Perfect for couples looking to relax and re-connect with one another, or perhaps for families with a couple of small children.  With the beachfront park and ocean pools only metres away, there is plenty to keep the kids happy, and the nearby restaurant strip offers myriad choices for dining out.

Why stay longer?
To play golf on nearby courses, enjoy the cliff top walking trails, have a BBQ in the beachfront park, wander along the sand at Dee Why beach, and try out more of the wonderful restaurants nearby. We loved the Bicentennial Walk, which takes you from Dee Why to Manly, along coastal paths. We certainly plan to return for a longer stay another time.

Why you wouldn’t stay longer?
We can’t think of any reason why you would want to cut the trip short … we never tired of watching the hang gliders, fishermen and people walking on the beach.

Pricing
Minimum booking is two nights and rates vary depending on the season, but range from $250 per couple per night for a weekend.  Check the listing for details.
