Meridien at Trinity

26-30 Moore Street

Trinity Beach, Far North Queensland

Self-contained apartments with all you could ask for, including a tranquil beachside location and close to all the delights of Cairns and beyond.

 Overall rating?

Excellent

What makes Meridien at Trinity different?

The wonderful on-site managers are there to ensure that you have a wonderful stay.  They are there when you need them, but unobtrusive.  The quality of the accommodation and facilities was first class, and it was only a very short walk to great restaurants, shops and amenities.  The apartments are large and spacious with wonderful balconies overlooking the beach.

Accommodation overview

There is a choice of 1, 2, or 3 bedroom apartments.  Ours had one bedroom with a king-size bed and a huge ensuite with shower, bath, basin and toilet, and two with queen-size beds.  These two bedrooms shared a bathroom.   The bedrooms are all generously sized and all linen is provided.  The rooms have ceiling fans, air-conditioning and stylish and luxurious furniture.

Facilities overview

You feel like you are on the beach, and it is only a minute away via the beach gate.  The apartments are modern, have gourmet kitchens, great living spaces and a truly tropical feel.  There is a solar-heated pool and an undercover BBQ area.  We loved the balcony with its spectacular views of palm-fringed Trinity Beach.  There is a fully equipped kitchen making it easy to self-cater if desired.

Location

The beachside location is perfect for those who love all that a beach holiday has to offer, but only 20 minutes away from Cairns and the delights of a major tourism hub.  Easily accessed via flights into Cairns, or enjoy it as a well-earned break on a motorcycle road trip, as we did.

Suitable for children?      Yes, but aimed at adults. Portacot, high chair and stroller available on request for extra charge.

Suitable for pets? No, but you can enjoy spending time with the resident dog Charley, and cat Midnight.

Wheelchair access? Difficult, check for your requirements.

Perfect for?

A family holiday, getaway with friends or a romantic break in one of the smaller apartments.  It is a great base from which to explore the delights of Cairns, Port Douglas and the Daintree Rainforest.  However, if you just want to relax, then the beach is on your doorstep.

Why stay longer?

To visit the Kuranda Scenic Railway, try out some of the scenic motorbike trails in the area, and to enjoy a great meal in one of the local restaurants after a day lazing on Trinity Beach.

Why you wouldn’t stay longer?

Can’t imagine a reason not to stay longer, other than the need to get back to day-to-day responsibilities.

Pricing

From $250-330 per night depending on the apartment (3 night minimum), but check the listing for specials and more details.

Bookings:
