Editor's Choice - Apartment 13 C Scape

Phillip Island is a great holiday destination and truly does have something for everyone. Famous for the nightly Penguin Parade, it is equally famous for hosting the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, the V8 Supercars and the World Super Bike Championships.

It also has an array of beaches for both surfing and swimming, great restaurants and shops and there are a number of superb walking and cycling tracks which have been designed to maximise the stunning coastal views and surround visitors with the island's flora and fauna. The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge and is only a 140 kilometres southeast of Melbourne.

There is a range of marvellous accommodation available, but those looking for a self-contained apartment with every feature needed to make a brilliant holiday should look no further than Apartment 13 C Scape.

This third floor, three-bedroom/two bathroom apartment sleeps up to eight people, has fabulous north-facing views across Cowes main beach and is right opposite a playground and BBQ area. The kitchen is fitted with quality Miele appliances and all the necessary utensils and is designed to make cooking throughout your holiday as pleasurable as possible. In fact, everything about the apartment is aimed at making it your new favourite holiday accommodation!

Features include reverse cycle air-conditioning in all bedrooms, 42" HD Plasma TV, DVD and CD, wireless broadband internet, washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, gas BBQ, secure undercover parking (2 slots) and a private balcony with a heart-stopping view of Westernport Bay, the Cowes foreshore and jetty.

There are two bedrooms with queen-size beds (one with ensuite) and the third bedroom has a tri bunk, along with the kids’ favourite … a Playstation 2. There are DVDS and games available, or you can bring your own. You can also choose to bring your own sheets and towels, or make it a real holiday and have the linen provided for a small extra charge.

Drag yourself away from C Scape to enjoy the many activities on offer. Most famous of course is the Penguin Parade when groups of Little (Fairy) penguins come ashore every evening. It is a spectacle that the whole family will enjoy and it attracts visitors from around the world. Another of nature’s gifts is Seal Rocks, home to Australia's largest fur seal colony, and only one and half kilometres offshore. The boardwalks and lookout points around the island mean that no matter where you go, you will be rewarded with another example of the natural beauty of Phillip island.

There is always something happening on the island and it is a holiday destination that will please all members of the family, from surfers to walkers to nature lovers, as well as those who love to shop, eat out and get involved in the many and varied activities that happen all year round. Apartment 13 C Scape is the perfect place to make the most of your holiday and all that Phillip Island has to offer.
