Perhaps the best place to plan your activities throughout your stay is from the verandah, chilled glass of wine in hand, as you contemplate the ocean and let your cares wash away.  South West Rocks is where the Macleay River meets the sea and is a region of pristine beaches, subtropical climate and natural beauty.

Visit historic Trial Bay Gaol in the Arakoon State Recreation area for a taste of our past, or Smoky Cape Lighthouse in Hat Head National Park, one of the most beautiful parks on the east coast.  The sparkling waters are home to a myriad of marine life and whales and dolphins are regular visitors.  Water sports abound, including surfing, snorkelling, sailboarding and scuba and land-based activities include golf, tennis, lawn bowls and squash.
