Margaret River

Margaret River, Western Australia

If you’re visiting Western Australia, then this is one place not to miss. And there really is no excuse. Just a few hours drive south of Perth the Margaret River region is magical and well worth the trip.

From the tranquil waters of Geographe Bay in the north, to the ancient Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge in the south, the Margaret River region is home to some of Australia’s finest wines as well as great beaches for surfing and camping.

Allow more than just a couple of days to explore this area’s picturesque vineyards and karri forests and the breathtaking beauty of Cape Leeuwin.

Head south from Perth on the Old Coast Road or the South West Highway, eventually meeting up with the Bussell Highway, through Bunbury and Busselton then on to Margaret River.
