  • Bedroom

Terrigal Hinterland B&B
26 Lea Avenue, Wamberal, Central Coast,
NSW

A tranquil bush retreat that is perfect for those with romance in mind…

This modern and private retreat is the perfect place for you and your partner to relax and re-connect away from the pace of everyday life.  Located just 10 minutes from Terrigal, you have the choice of the ocean or the bush.

Overall rating?
Excellent

What makes Terrigal Hinterland B&B different?
It is a modern luxury property with tranquil bush views and yet is easily in reach of brilliant beaches and the restaurants in Terrigal.  There is even a complimentary limousine transfer to selected restaurants.  A solar-heated lap pool is a great way to work off the incredible breakfasts. The hosts have perfected the art of being there when you need them and invisible when you want privacy.

Accommodation overview
This is a modern and romantic property and the bedrooms reflect that.  Serenity is furnished in lustrous neutral tones and boasts a king-size bed (twin singles available for longer stays) and is accessible for wheelchair users.  Joy has a queen-size bed and furnishings that are reminiscent of the Middle East and both rooms feature ensuites with large spas, mood lighting and a private deck, which overlooks the lap pool.

Facilities overview
There is a spacious guest lounge and BBQ, Foxtel is available and each suite has a fridge, iron, TV and DVD.  The bathrooms are luxuriously appointed and feature toiletries by Concept Amenities.  Both suites have individually controlled air-conditioning for guest comfort.  The breakfasts, starting with a fresh fruit platter, are absolutely wonderful and the Eggs Florentine will have any thoughts of a diet flying straight out of your head!  There is a private entrance and separate parking for each suite.

Location
About one hour from Sydney, take the Wyong exit down to Tumbi Road, and then after a few kilometres turn into Lea Avenue.

Suitable for children?
No

Suitable for pets?
No

Wheelchair access?
Yes, Serenity and the guest lounge are both accessible.  There is a ramp to the room, pedal door close, wide door to the bathroom and a flick mixer on the vanity tap, grab rails around the toilet, roll-under basin and doorless shelves.  There is no lip to the shower stall, a height-adjustable shower head and plenty of turning space in the bathroom.

Perfect for?
Terrigal Hinterland B&B would be a sensational place to celebrate a wedding night or anniversary, to get to know someone new or to re-connect with your partner.  You have the choice of “cocooning” at the B&B or heading out to the wonderful beaches or excellent restaurants, cafes and shops in Terrigal.

Why stay longer?
To lounge around the pool and enjoy the sense of tranquillity, enjoy just one more romantic spa or another gourmet breakfast.  This is a great place to take a deep breath and forget the cares of everyday life.  The beaches are minutes away and it is a joy to laze in the sun and watch the hang-gliders.

Why you wouldn’t stay longer?
The only reason I can think of is because you had to return to work and the real world!

Pricing
From $230-280 per couple per night.  Midweek special $200 per night for a minimum of 2 nights.
