Bonville Lodge ... far more than just a stopover!

While Bonville Lodge Luxury B&B is perfectly located to break your journey north from Sydney or south from Brisbane, it is such a perfectly planned retreat that it is a destination in itself!  Located in the beautiful Mid North coast town of Coffs Harbour, the question is not what is there to do … but how can we fit it all in?

So whether you are stopping over on your way elsewhere or making Coffs Harbour your destination, then Bonville Lodge has it all.  There are two types of accommodation … the very private Bridge Cottage which is the perfect romantic getaway for two adults (with its’ separate entrance and king-size bed), or The Lodge – a spacious 3 bedroom area that comfortably sleeps 6 adults in queen-size beds.

The Coffs Coast is 550km north of Sydney and 430km south of Brisbane.  The region has a population of 90,000 and enjoys one of Australia’s most liveable climates with an average maximum temperature of 24 degrees and an average minimum of 13 degrees.  The wonderful choice of towns surrounding the area includes Coffs Harbour, Nambucca Heads, Bellingen and Dorrigo.

There is so much going on in the area that you will want to make it your destination – not a stopover.  Enjoy exploring rainforests and bird-watching; walking the golden beaches and then sliding into the warm ocean waters, where snorkelling or scuba diving will reveal the wonders beneath; parasailing; whale watching; jet-skiing, canoeing and kayaking; sailing and boat hire; fabulous fishing; skydiving … why drive by when there is so much to do here?  And don’t forget Bonville International Golf Resort, renowned worldwide as one of Australia’s most beautiful courses.

And Bonville Lodge makes it easy to stay - your choice of accommodation, with bountiful breakfasts and excellent evening meals by arrangement. You can choose from mouth-watering dishes such as garlic prawns, Thai-style chicken, seafood mornay, fish of the day … and the list goes on!  When you make your booking have a chat with Ron or Cathy and they will source your special requests.

The property is a rustic sandstone Federation-style homestead, with a classic bull-nose verandah overlooking the 11 metre pool. The pool and the paved area are shaded by sails, making it a delightful area to relax and chill out.

Bonville Lodge – a perfect romantic hideaway, a great place for a family holiday or just treat yourself to a stopover on your journey … Bonville Lodge promises to make your stay memorable!
