The beautiful South Coast of New South Wales is a treasure trove of glorious beaches, lakes and bushland, and Robyns Nest Boutique Resort is set like a jewel in the middle of them. Nestled in 100 acres of bushland and rainforest just 2km from Merimbula with a 25 acre lake frontage this lovely guest house offers all you could wish for – and a few things you didn’t know you wanted!
The Resort offers a 5 star bed and breakfast with 6 luxurious guest suites. Add to this 14 fully self-contained 41/2 star villas with a choice of one or two bedrooms and you will find all y our accommodation needs answered.
Let’s start with the Guest House, which is a 700 metre sq building with a style all its’ own. Soaring cathedral ceilings, warm timber surrounds and the comfort of an open fire make the guest lounge perfect for relaxation. The accommodation consists of 2 deluxe suites with king beds, 2 standard rooms with queen beds, 1 standard room with two king single beds and 1 deluxe room with queen bed and two king singles.
The guest suites each have a private balcony, which offers superb views of the lake and peaceful surrounds. Aside from the Guest Lounge, there are also BBQ facilities available for those staying in the Guest House and exclusive use of the Jacuzzi and sauna.
If you prefer self-contained accommodation then the villas are for you. State-of-the-art kitchens, fully equipped and air-conditioned, private balconies with BBQ and of course, absolute water views … you will never want to leave!
Take a dip in the beautifully landscaped pool or expend some energy on the tennis court. If you can drag yourself away from the Resort, Merimbula is only 3 minutes drive away. Better yet, stroll there along the boardwalk that follows the edge of Top Lake all the way into the town centre. It is a leisurely 45 minute stroll and you will have earned lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants on offer.
Bushwalk to the sound of bellbirds, hire a boat for lake fishing or venture through the channel into the ocean … even bring your own boat as Robyns Nest has mooring facilities available.
Pristine beaches, whale-watching, the delights of the bush and the lake … one visit to Robyns Nest Boutique Resort at Merimbula, and you will understand why the area is called the Sapphire Coast!
