Editor's Choice - The Resting Hub
  • Lounge/dining room
  • Games room
  • Sunset

The South Coast of NSW is one of those places that seems to be blessed with an abundance of natural beauty… every way you look there is another sight to delight and inspire, from the perfect stretch of the surf beach, to the calm waters of the bay, the forested ranges and hidden waterways and into the hinterland with its emerald hills folded into one another.

An easy three hour drive south of Sydney – and even closer to Canberra – Mollymook is the ideal spot for a family holiday, as it offers the chance to enjoy the peace and tranquillity, as well as many activities guaranteed to keep the family happy.

The Resting Hub is also perfect for a family holiday, with its three bedrooms sleeping up to 9 people in comfort.  Ideally located just a few minutes from the famous beach, it is in a quiet and private location, which allows you to make the most of the serenity of the area – while still being only a short distance from the restaurants, cafes and shops of the town.  Light, bright and recently refurbished, it is perfectly placed to make the most of the delights of the region.

There is a lot of thought that has gone into making this house ideal for the family market, including child-proof gates on the stairs, high chair, portacot and bed guards, a fully fenced yard, DVDs, games, table tennis and a football table in the enormous games room downstairs. Another thoughtful inclusion is the provision of all linen, including bath towels, beach towels and tea towels.  There is nothing worse than taking up all your packing space with essentials - unless it is making beds when you arrive at your holiday home! - and when you visit The Resting Hub, you don’t have to.

The house has a flexible, split level layout that makes it a great option for two families to share, or for a group of adults to take a break together.  The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and plenty of storage in the built-in wardrobes, the second bedroom is flexible and can be used as two singles or a king-size bed and the third bedroom features one double and one single bed.  The double pullout bed in the games rooms downstairs allows for extra guests, or the privacy that teenagers crave.

Add the huge deck with glorious views of the hills, and you have the perfect place to enjoy a BBQ at the end of a day on the beach, or exploring the wineries, whale watching or any of the other myriad activities on offer.

This can be a holiday where the car could stay in the garage, as The Resting Hub is so close to all you need in Mollymook.  However, there is so much to see in the surrounding area, such as the historic village of Milton, with its markets, cafes and craft shops.  Ulladulla is a working fishing port and harbour and also has a good variety of shops, restaurants and cinemas to cater to every need.  Mollymook Bay is home to a pod of bottlenose dolphins and abundant sealife.  And of course, the golfers have not been forgotten with a choice of two great courses to keep even the most enthusiastic golfer happy.

A holiday at The Resting Hub is guaranteed to have you wanting to return again and again to enjoy the comforts of this wonderful holiday house and the many attractions of the South Coast.
