Rocky Barra Bounty celebrates its 12th year in 2010 and promises to be bigger and better than ever! It will be staged on the Rockhampton Fitzroy River and comprises of two full days of fishing followed by an awards presentation and celebratory dinner.This 70-team competition is based on the most metres of Barramundi tagged and released, to ensure minimum impact on fish stocks and to provide a chance to collect data about the fish in the river.The competition briefing will again take place on the Thursday evening, and the main events will be conducted on the Friday and Saturday.
