Sunshine Coast Holiday Resort – great location, great choice!

Alexandra Headland/Mooloolaba lies on the coast one hour’s drive from Brisbane International Airport and just 15 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport.  It has always been known for its laid-back lifestyle and fabulous beaches, and over the years has grown into a cosmopolitan and friendly area, with great shops, cafes and restaurants.

Sunshine Coast Holiday Resort consists of three properties: Alexandra on the Pacific, Mariner on the Pacific and Ocean Vista on Alex.  The three boutique properties are integrated as one with reception at Alexandra on the Pacific.  All have secure undercover parking and heated pools and spas.  Having 3 properties operated as one means that the guest is spoiled for choice … and isn’t that what a holiday should be about?

Each property is rated 41/2 star and the complex offers the choice of spacious 1, 2 or 3 bedroom apartments (with ensuite) or 2 & 3 bedroom penthouses.  All apartments are fully self-contained, with dishwasher, microwave, cable TV, linen and full laundry.  There is a rooftop BBQ and spa and some apartments have both front and rear balconies.  Two bedroom apartments all have ensuites and second bathrooms.

So … incredible comfort in the all the apartments, but the array of things to do in the area beckon!  Not only do you have a number of pristine beaches with gorgeous warm water (and one is just over the road!), there is also the amazing hinterland and all it has to offer!

The ancient Glasshouse Mountains, Buderim and its historic ginger production, the waterfalls and rainforests, the Blackall Ranges and Noosa National Parks, and the delights of world heritage-listed Fraser Island are all within easy reach of the Resort.

There are plenty of activities to suit everyone: the famous Australia Zoo, hand feed a deer at Forest Glen Sanctuary, Underwater World at the Wharf – an oceanarium that provides a stunning insight into the mysteries of the deep.  Don’t forget the kitsch and wonderful Big Pineapple and there is always a cleansing ale at the Ettamogah Pub.

The only way to decide what to do is to take a moment on your balcony, drink in the sensational views and ponder all the choices that make the Sunshine Coast Holiday Resort one that offers something for everyone!
