An eco-certified, self-contained B&B in a beautiful valley, Quamby Pine Chalets has lots of room for children to run around.  There are plenty of animals on the farm for kids to see and feed.

What makes Quamby Pines Chalet different?
On arrival our hosts were very welcoming with interesting conversation and the heater on in the room to take the chill off. This lovely valley setting is the right atmosphere for a relaxing holiday, taking advantage of the trout fishing, plenty of room to explore and local activities.

Accommodation overview
Quamby Pines Chalet has both the Cabin and Unit 2, which can be hired separately or together. The Chalet is a comfortable two-bedroom unit that is separate from the house.  In the main bedroom there is a queen bed and in the second bedroom is a set of bunks with a queen-size bed on the bottom and a single on the top. The Cabin lounge room also has a double sofa bed, and there is a fully functional kitchenette. Both Units can use the barbecue area.

Unit 2 is attached to the house with its own separate entrance.  It has one bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite and it’s own porch.

There is a television in each and plenty of magazines and tourist information on the local area.

Facilities overview
A continental breakfast is supplied although for an additional cost you can have a cooked breakfast and/or cooked dinner.  The barbecue area is perfect for sitting and eating your dinner overlooking the bush setting keeping an eye out for the animals in the bush such as the deer, wallabies, possums, Tasmanian Devils and - if you are lucky - a spotted quoll. Tasting the fresh home-grown produce is another thing you must not miss at Quamby Pines.
 
Location
Found in a beautiful valley just a five minute drive down from Quamby Brook Road just out of Deloraine, this beautiful B&B is set on 40 acres of farmland. It is hidden in the bush but still close to Deloraine. It is only 45 minutes along the A1 from Launceston and 45 minutes from Devonport.

Suitable for children?         Yes
Quamby Pine Chalets has lots of room for children just to run around.  There are plenty of animals on the farm for kids to see and feed. They can pat the miniature Herefords, feed the chooks and deer and even come and meet Pete the Stag. Also on the farm is the sheep, rabbits and the recent addition of emus. With all of the paddocks fenced off from the dam it is safe for the kids to run around.

Quamby Pines is perfect for couples just wanting to relax and for families and small groups travelling together also wanting to relax or take in this farm experience and explore the region.

Why stay longer?
Between the welcoming hosts, feeding the animals, going on a farm tour, exploring the region and nearby attractions, such as the cheese factory, honey farm, chocolate factory, salmon/ginseng farm and a strawberry farm – as well as a wildlife park for the kids - you won’t want to leave.

Why you wouldn’t stay longer?
If you wanted to be closer to the city.
