Spotlight - Sandy Point Townhouses
  • Sandy Point Beach
  • Sunset at Sandy Point
  • Townhouse at Sandy Point
  • Beach

Sandy Point enjoys a magical location on glorious Wilsons Promontory (The Prom) in the Gippsland area of Victoria, lying at the entrance of a narrow peninsula that faces both Waratah Bay and Shallow Inlet, and is perfectly located to make the most of the many attractions in the region.

There are spectacular views across Shallow Inlet and down to the Prom and this is a great place for a family holiday, away from the pressures of day-to-day life.  Let the kids run … with over 18 kms of uninterrupted surf beach, there is plenty of space to burn off some energy.

The Sandy Point Townhouses are a great accommodation option and have a different take on your usual beachside accommodation, with their delightful modern décor and luxury inclusions – after all, who said a holiday at the beach had to be all sandy feet and fibro cottages?

These townhouses have a huge master bedroom with ensuite and private balcony, as well as a second bedroom with the convenience of a double bed as well as a single bed, another bathroom and a well-designed living and entertaining area that opens directly onto the deck, with bi-fold doors that invite the outside in.  Comfort is key and the leather lounges, air conditioning and panel heating ensure that the townhouses tick all your holiday boxes.

Fully self-contained, they feature a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel Euro appliances, a BBQ for al fresco cooking and are only a minute’s walk away from the patrolled surf beach and a hop, skip and a jump to nearby tennis courts.

All you need is nearby, with the café and well-stocked General Store, and there is even mini golf, in the unlikely event of the kids deciding they have had enough of the beach.

And what beaches!  Long curves of white sand and pristine water, with the dramatic backdrop of mountain peaks … you may never want to leave and with so many activities to choose from, why would you?

Sandy Point is a renowned windsurfing destination, and the sheltered waters of Shallow Inlet are perfect for swimmers, kite surfers, sailors and kayakers and the compacted sand means that it is possible to drive your car right onto the beach. Those who enjoy dangling a line will be in heaven and if walking is your thing, then you cannot ask for more than the uninterrupted stretches of sand, backed by dunes that give amazing views in every direction.

Only 150 kms south-east of Melbourne, Sandy Point is a great place for a family holiday, a weekend away with friends or a romantic interlude with your loved one – and the Sandy Point Townhouses answer the needs of all these different types of holidays.  The only problem will be when it is time to leave and return to reality!
